Advisory Committees
Fifth District Community Advisory Council
This committee includes leaders from community groups throughout the Fifth District. The committee is designed to provide Councilman Marks with information about neighborhood issues. In turn, Councilman Marks alerts members to legislation and issues facing county government.
Fifth District Pedestrian and Bicycle Advisory Committee
Bill 2-12 established the Baltimore County Pedestrian and Bicycle Advisory Committee. This is a districtwide committee that focuses on trails, sidewalk connections, and other opportunities to improve bicycling and pedestrian access.
Perry Hall High School Neighbors Committee
Councilman Marks established the Perry Hall High School Neighbors Committee to improve relations between the school and surrounding neighborhoods.
Downtown Perry Hall Beautification Committee
Councilman Marks created this committee to beautify and improve the Perry Hall commercial district.
Development Advisory Committees
Councilman Marks has established advisory committees to discuss developing areas in Towson and Loch Raven. Committees were created to provide input on the Towson Triangle, the intersection at Bosley Avenue and York Road, and the former Raytheon property near Loch Raven Village.
