The Recycling Division is responsible for promoting recycling and waste prevention (reduction and reuse). Baltimore County's only landfill, Eastern Sanitary Landfill, is already half full. The County Council approved the County's Ten Year Solid Waste Management Plan on December 1, 2008. The Plan, including an Executive Summary, may be viewed here.
