Baltimore County's only landfill, Eastern Sanitary Landfill, is already half full. We can preserve the life of the County's landfill by recycling as much as possible and reducing our waste.

The County Council approved the County's Ten Year Solid Waste Management Plan on December 1, 2008. The Plan, including an Executive Summary, may be viewed here. The Plan is subject to review and approval by the Maryland Department of the Environment.
