My Neighborhood: Historic provides access to the County's geographic information system (GIS) databases, allows the user to display and query map data. My Neighborhood: Historic provides location and general information about historic properties and districts in the County.
The user can:
- Select a county-wide map and zoom in to see more detail in specific areas. An aerial photo can be displayed by using the zoom-in tool.
- Create a map for a specific address.
- By using the "identify" tool, click on map locations to access a narrative report, sometimes with a photo, about the historic resource.
Reliability of Historic Map Data (Intended Use)
This interactive map is intended to help individuals better understand the historic resources. My Neighborhood: Historic should not be used as the basis of decisions pertaining to property in Baltimore County. However, it may contain errors associated with the map or the data. Please contact the Office of Planning if you have any questions regarding how to use the Map.

- Internet Explorer - Version 5.0, 5.5, 6.0
- Netscape - 4.61, 4.75, 6.0 or higher
- AOL browsers may experience errors
- Disable your popup blockers.
My Neighbrhood: Historic connection and system requirements:
- broadband connection is recommended but will work for 56k or higher connections
- supported Macintosh systems 9.0 or higher
