My Neighborhood: Historic provides access to the County's geographic information system (GIS) databases, allows the user to display and query map data. My Neighborhood: Historic provides location and general information about historic properties and districts in the County.
The user can: - Select a county-wide map and zoom in to see more detail in specific areas. An aerial photo can be displayed by using the zoom-in tool.
- Create a map for a specific address.
- By using the "identify" tool, click on map locations to access a narrative report, sometimes with a photo, about the historic resource.
Reliability of Historic Map Data (Intended Use) This interactive map is intended to help individuals better understand the historic resources. My Neighborhood: Historic should not be used as the basis of decisions pertaining to property in Baltimore County. However, it may contain errors associated with the map or the data.
