Growlers (Refillable Container Permit)
House Bill 208 (Growlers Legislation) is effective October 1, 2014, which allows holders of Class A, B and D Licenses (PDF) to hold a refillable container permit (PDF) to sell draft beer for consumption off the licensed premises in certain refillable containers with a capacity of not less than 32 ounces and not more than 128 ounces, and that meets the standards under Article 2B of the Annotated Code of Maryland, Section 21-107 (2013 supplement).

The Liquor Board Commission investigates and processes all alcoholic beverage license applications, investigates police reports pertaining to liquor law violations, all public complaints, and updates license information in the Alcohol Beverage License Book (PDF). If a violation of the State Alcoholic Beverage Laws or Local Rules and Regulations is found, the Board may have a hearing to consider a fine, suspension of the license or revocation of the license. All licensees shall operate their establishments in such a manner as to avoid disturbing the peace, tranquility, safety, health and quiet of the neighborhood.
