Mission Statement
The Commission's responsibility is to regulate and control the sale and distribution of alcoholic beverages within the county to obtain respect and obedience to laws and to administer and enforce the provisions of the laws of the State of Maryland and the Rules and Regulations of Baltimore County.
The Commission investigates and processes all alcoholic beverage license applications, investigates police reports pertaining to liquor law violations and all public complaints. If a violation of the State Alcoholic Beverage Laws or Local Rules and Regulations is found, the Board may have a hearing to consider a fine, suspension of the license or revocation of the license. All licensees shall operate their establishments in such a manner as to avoid disturbing the peace, tranquility, safety, health and quiet of the neighborhood.
