The Office of Information Technology (OIT) works in partnership with other County agencies to provide business solutions that support the delivery of government services.
We support the County's needs in leading technology areas such as electronic commerce, wireless networking, geographical information systems, and document imaging. With a strong focus on customer service and continuous improvement, the staff and management of OIT are committed to supporting Baltimore County's needs with technology solutions that work.

Innovation, Efficiency and Consolidation (IEC) Report
In order to meet the County Executive’s vision of a more efficient, and innovative County Government, the County’s Administrative Officer requested Baltimore County Agencies work with OIT and the Office of Budget and Finance (OBF) to identify projects that provide innovation, efficiency, cost savings, consolidations, vacancy reductions and better serve public safety - all of which can be realized within a six to eighteen month time frame.

Public Information Act (PIA) Requests
These adopted Regulations (PDF) set out procedures under the Maryland Public Information Act for filing and processing requests to any agency of the County general government for the inspection and copying of a public record of an agency.
