Department of Aging Helps Seniors Research Prescription Drug Coverage During Open Enrollment

Towson, Md. (November 5, 2009) — Do you know that seniors have until the end of the year to search and see what the best and least expensive prescription drug plan will be? Do you also know that plan’s prices could change each year, so it’s recommended that everyone research their plan, even if they are currently happy with their coverage? Changes occur each year in drug coverage, co-pays and eligibility requirements for certain discounts. In order to find the best plan, older adults must take action now.
