Help Baltimore County Stay Flu Free: Be an H1N1 Vaccine VolunteerTowson, Md. (November 5, 2009) — Volunteers are needed to assist with the Baltimore County Health Department’s H1N1 vaccination program. Both trained medical professionals and untrained community volunteers are needed to support this effort. Volunteer ResponsibilitiesVolunteers are needed to screen patients, assist with line control, help with the hotline and other duties. There is flexibility on dates, times and locations. Training will be provided; medical experience is not required for all positions. Trained Medical ProfessionalsHowever, doctors, nurses and nurse practitioners, with current licenses, are also needed immediately to assist with the vaccinations.
