Towson, Md. (October 2, 2009) — This year, the Baltimore County and Baltimore City fire departments again will support WBAL Radio's Coats for Kids campaign, which provides gently used coats to needy children and adults throughout the region. Now is the time to donate coats. If you have used coats in good condition that you no longer want, please consider donating them to this worthy program. There has been a shortage of coats during the past few years, while the demand has grown. To donate, take the coats to the nearest participating dry cleaner, where they will be cleaned free of charge; WBAL requires that all coats donated through Coats for Kids be professionally cleaned. A list of participating cleaners is available at WBAL Radio's web site, http://www.wbal.com/coatsforkids/default.asp. The coats will be distributed in Baltimore County during Thanksgiving week at Woodlawn, Middle River and Dundalk stations. Dates and locations will be announced soon. |
