Excellence in Financial Reporting

Towson, Maryland (September 10, 2013) – Baltimore County's Budget and Finance Director, Keith Dorsey, was recognized by the Government Finance Officers Association of North America (GFOA) for the level of excellence in financial reporting demonstrated in the County's Comprehensive Annual Financial Report for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2012.

Highest Form of Recognition

This achievement awards program is considered to be the highest form of recognition in governmental accounting and financial reporting. "It is in large part due to their expertise and diligence that we have been able to maintain the triple-AAA bond rating that enables us to keep up the positive momentum with upgrading our schools, enhancing  County services and maintaining our infrastructure."
