(July 20, 2009) — Free information, advice and legal counseling for Baltimore County residents concerned about the possibility of losing their homes to foreclosure will be available at a special workshop in August. The meeting will take place in Owings Mills at New Town High School, 4931 New Town Blvd., from 5 to 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 19.
The meeting will offer two services: - General information on managing your mortgage
- One-on-one free legal counseling on foreclosure solutions
If you seek the legal counseling, please register in advance to guarantee your time with a lawyer by calling the Baltimore County Office of Community Conservation (OCC) at 410-887-3124. The free counseling sessions are made available through a partnership among OCC, the Pro Bono Resource Center of Maryland and Civil Justice, Inc. “We are very pleased to work with our partners to provide a valuable service that can bring aid to county residents who may need assistance in navigating the complex world of mortgage finance,” said OCC director Mary Harvey. |
