Baltimore County Supports Businesses Bringing Jobs to the Area
Towson, Maryland (June 30, 2014) – The Baltimore County Department of Economic and Workforce Development is working to bring new jobs to the area by supporting businesses that are creating job opportunities across the county.
PayPal Creates Positions
One company bringing jobs to Baltimore County is PayPal. The payments company is adding new positions at its Customer Support Operations Center in Hunt Valley, Maryland. The Baltimore County Department of Economic and Workforce Development is supporting the payments company's efforts with recruitment assistance for customer service representatives at PayPal's office on Schilling Road.
PayPal is holding an open house on July 16 and welcomes interested customer support applicants to attend. A full job description and application is available.
"There is a wealth of talent in Baltimore County. As PayPal expands its operations here, our workforce development team is linking the company with qualified job candidates," said Will Anderson, director of the Baltimore County Department of Economic and Workforce Development.
PayPal also has major operations in Timonium for the development of its credit product.
