Promotional Video Supporting Tourism and Wineries

Towson, Maryland (June 12, 2013) – Today, Baltimore County Executive Kevin Kamenetz announced the release of a new commercial to promote summer tourism in the County. The promotion reminds visitors and residents that northern Baltimore County is home to:

  • Basignani Winery
  • Woodhall Wine Cellars
  • Boordy Vineyards
  • DeJon Vineyards
  • Royal Rabbit Vineyards

The video advertises the local flavor of the growing Baltimore County wine industry. "One of the real treasures of Baltimore County's rural landscape is its wine country," said County Executive Kevin Kamenetz. "These wineries make a variety of outstanding wine and offer great venues for day trips and special events. Don't let the summer pass without visiting one of the County's great wineries."

The one-minute video – which was produced in-house – showcases the vineyards at Boordy and also encourages wine lovers to join the Maryland Wineries Association's Wine Passport Program. Participants track visits and earn incentives and prizes when shopping at any Maryland winery or vineyard.
