New Trash & Recycling Collection Schedule Being Mailed to Households

Towson, Md. (May 9, 2008) - Residents living in the Ruxton, Rodgers Forge, and Lutherville areas or the Sparrows Point and Dundalk areas, if their trash/recycling collection schedules expire this month, should look for their new four-year schedules in the mail by the end of May. The approximately 17,700 households in these areas that need a new schedule will receive one.

The new collection schedules include information about Baltimore County’s trash and recycling program on the reverse side, making it even easier for residents to reference information about regulations, collection holidays, materials accepted in the County’s recycling program, and more.

This is the eleventh of eighteen schedule distributions the Bureau of Solid Waste Management is conducting around the county between June 2007 and February 2009.
