Celebrate “Public Safety Day”

Baltimore County, Maryland (October 22, 2013) - The 9th Annual Baltimore County Public Safety Day takes place on October 26 at the Hunt Valley Towne Centre, located on Shawan Road between McCormick Road and York Road near I-83.

The event, sponsored by the Baltimore County Police Community Relations Councils Inc., starts at 10 a.m. and ends at 3 p.m. The free event is open to the public.

This promises to be a great time for all, as the Baltimore County Police and Fire Departments present exciting demonstrations and displays to educate and entertain everyone.

The following demonstrations and displays are scheduled for Public Safety Day:

  • K-9 dogs in action
  • Armored car up close
  • Police motorcycles
  • Aviation Unit and its helicopter
  • Tactical Team
  • Fire Department trucks, engines and other fire service apparatus
  • A CPR ”Hands Only” demonstration
  • Kids’ face painting and fingerprinting

Participants include the Baltimore County Police and Fire departments; the Baltimore County Volunteer Firemen’s Association; the Baltimore County Sheriff’s Office; and other local and state agencies. This is your opportunity to bring your questions and concerns to Baltimore County’s public safety experts.
