Women Charged for Precinct 11/Essex Bank Robbery

Baltimore County, Maryland (September 30, 2013) - On September 27 at approximately 3:05 p.m., officers responded to a bank robbery at the Baltimore County Savings Bank in the 500 block of Eastern Boulevard. Two suspects entered the bank and passed a note to the teller implying that they had a bomb. The teller gave the suspects money, and they fled in a vehicle. Officers stopped the vehicle a short distance away, and three suspects were arrested.

  • Czekiah Fludd, 24, of the 4700 block of Ivanhoe Avenue, 21218
  • Ashley Fitz, 22, of the 2600 block of Francis Street, 21217

They have been charged with armed robbery. Ashley Fitz was also charged for a similar bank robbery that occurred the day before at the First Mariner Bank in the 4800 block of Painters Mill Road in Precinct 3.

All three suspects are being held at the Baltimore County Detention Center on $350,000 bail.
