Baltimore County Police have charged two Essex men in connection with three robberies and a burglary in the Essex area.

  • Kion Deshawn Bostick (23) of the Unit block of Valley Arbor Court 21221.
  • Shane Reed Woodall (22) of the Unit block of Valley Arbor Court 21221.

April 24: First Degree Burglary, Unit block of Valley Arbor Court 21221
Sometime between 5:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., the suspects entered an apartment through the front door. Taken from the location was an LG television, an X-Box game system, a Dell computer, a calculator, a key, coins, and two BB guns.

April 28: Armed Robbery, Williams Avenue and Southeastern Terrace 21221
At 9:05 p.m., the victim was walking at the location when she was approached by two suspects. She felt uneasy and tried to call someone on her phone. Before she could contact someone, the suspects, who were wearing bandanas on their faces, stopped her. One of the suspects pointed a handgun at her and demanded her money. The victim handed the suspect with the gun $2 and the suspects walked away.

April 28: Armed Robbery, Unit block of Valley Arbor Court 21221
At 9:50 p.m., the victim was making a pizza delivery for a local Dominos Pizza business. As he walked to the location where he was supposed to make the delivery, the suspect approached him from behind. One of the suspects stated that the delivery was for them. Both of the suspects then produced handguns and pointed then at the victim. The suspects took the pizzas and $21 from the victim and told him to walk away.

April 28: Armed Robbery, Unit block of Valley Arbor Court 21221
At 10:03 p.m., the victim was making a pizza delivery for Five Star Pizza. As he was at the door to an apartment building, he was approached by two suspects. Both suspects pointed handguns at him. One of the suspects demanded money. The suspects took $80 from the victim and told him to walk away.

Investigation
Essex Precinct detectives determined that Kion Deshawn Bostick and Shane Reed Woodall first robbed the female at Williams Avenue and Southeastern Terrace. One of the suspects then placed a call to Five Star Pizza to order food. When the suspects saw a delivery driver arrive in the area, they robbed him (robbery of Dominoes Pizza delivery person). They later realized that they robbed the wrong person and when they saw the Five Star Pizza delivery person arrive in the area, they robbed him.

During their investigation, detectives also identified Kion Deshawn Bostick and Shane Reed Woodall as the suspects in the April 24 burglary on Valley Arbor Court.

Both Kion Deshawn Bostick and Shane Reed Woodall are being held without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center.
