The next edition of Police Report, the Baltimore County Police Department’s cable TV program, runs through June 30.

This segment focuses on the Baltimore County Police Foundation’s 35th anniversary of its Annual Awards Program and Dinner that was held in April. A special 35th Anniversary Tribute was prepared to commemorate this special anniversary. In the video, there are a variety of people involved in the Foundation’s history – Chiefs of Police, Foundation Presidents, and, most importantly, some of the Department’s past award recipients.

The Baltimore County Police Foundation was established in 1980 to recognize Police Department employees for their outstanding performance and to strengthen the relationship between the Department and the business community.

On February 1 at 10:54 p.m., Baltimore County Police responded to the unit block of Straw Hat Road for a report of a robbery.

The initial investigation into this incident has indicated that the 40-year-old male victim was in front of his apartment building when he was approached by two suspects. They pushed him down and kicked him in the head. The suspects took the victim’s wallet that contained $700 before fleeing the scene.

The suspects are described as black males between the ages of 20 and 29. One suspect was short and stocky with a gray and white striped shirt. The other suspect was taller and wore all dark clothing. The suspects were later caught on video surveillance at a nearby gas station. Surveillance photos of the suspects are posted below.

The victim received minor injuries as a result of the incident but he was not transported to a medical facility.

This incident is being investigated by the Franklin Precinct Investigative Services Team.

Anyone with information on this incident is asked to call Baltimore County Police at 410-307-2020.
