Baltimore County Police have charged suspects in three robberies in the Reisterstown area.
February 10: 12000 block of Reisterstown Road 21136
At approximately 12:00 p.m., the victims were walking back to their apartment when the suspect began to follow them. Once inside the building, the suspect produced a black semi-automatic handgun, pressed it against the ribcage of one of the victims, and said “kick it out”. That victim gave the suspect his cell phone and $13 U.S. Currency. The second victim gave the suspect her wallet that contained credit cards and a driver’s license. The suspect then fled the scene. The first victim chased the suspect but lost sight of him.
The investigation into this incident identified Elijah Hairston as the suspect.
March 3: Hammershire Road and Ewing Road 21136
At approximately 10:30 p.m., the victim was walking to a local store when he was approached by two suspects in the area of Hammershire Road and Ewing Road. The suspects stated “empty your pockets”. One of the suspects then pointed a handgun at the victim. The suspects took a wallet containing two bank cards and $60 in U.S. Currency, and a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 cell phone from the victim before fleeing the scene.
One of the suspects was identified as Elijah Amir Hairston. The second suspect has been identified but has not been officially charged.
April 3: 11900 block of Reisterstown Road 21136
At 2:35 p.m., the victim was standing at a bus stop when he was approached by three suspects. The suspects displayed a knife and demanded money. The victim was able to get away from the suspects and call 911. The suspects were located and taken into custody.
One of the suspects was identified as Elijah Amir Hairston. When he was taken into custody, a folding knife was recovered from his right front pants pocket.
The other two suspects charged is this case were identified as 20-year-old Daquante Pernell Mackall and 19-year-old Robert Burger Jr.
Disposition of suspects
Elijah Amir Hairston, of the unit block of Pendragon Court 21136, is charged in connection with all three incidents. He is being held at the Baltimore county Detention Center on $350,000 bail.
Robert Burger Jr, of the Unit block of Meriam Court 21117, is charged in connection with the April 3 incident. He has been released on $30,000 bail.
Daquante Pernell Mackall, of no fixed address, is charged in connection with the April 3 incident. He is being held without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center
