At 6:02 p.m., Baltimore County Police and Fire personnel responded to the Royal Farm store in the 600 block of Southwick Drive in Towson for a report of a vehicle that had gone through the front of the store.

The initial investigation into this incident has indicated that for unknown reasons, a Subaru Impreza drove through the front of the Royal Farm store, striking a 46-year-old female customer inside the business, pinning her against a counter.

The female was transported to St Joseph’s Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

The 60-year-old female driver of the Subaru did not display any signs of impairment.

While the face of the store was severely damaged, the building structure was determined to be sound by Fire Department supervisors. Building inspectors were not requested to respond.

This incident is being investigated by Precinct 6 patrol personnel.
