Update, February 10: The suspects in this shooting are Christopher Carl Green, 22, of the 6800 block of Eastridge Road, 21208; and Elmer Shelton Blackwell Jr., 21, of the 3100 block of Betlou James Place, 21207. Green is charged with first degree assault (for attempting to use his vehicle to run over a Woodlawn officer), resisting arrest and various gun and drug charges; he is held without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center. Blackwell is charged with resisting arrest and various gun and drug charges; he was released on $75,000 bail.

The Baltimore County Police Department is currently investigating a shooting that occurred last night in the Woodlawn Precinct.

On February 6, at approximately 7:24 p.m., police responded to the 6800 block of Townbrook Drive, 21207 in reference to gunshots heard in the area. Police investigation revealed that suspects in a dark colored vehicle were possibly responsible for shooting at an unknown victim who was last seen running away from the scene toward Windsor Boulevard. Police were also able to locate shell casings at the scene.

After a brief search of the surrounding area, officers located a vehicle fitting the description of the suspect vehicle. Officers attempted to stop the vehicle; however, the suspects inside the vehicle attempted to elude the police officers. A brief pursuit ensued and with the assistance of the Baltimore County Police helicopter, the two unidentified male suspects were arrested in the area of Eastridge Road and Huntington Drive, 21207. Police recovered a handgun from the vehicle. The suspects were transported back to the Woodlawn Precinct.

The victim in this case has not been identified at this time.

Photo of man who may have information in attempted armed robbery in Precinct 12/North Point.On July 28 at 8:30 p.m., officers responded to the 6900 block of Quad Avenue, 21222, in Precinct 12/North Point, for an attempted armed robbery. The victim reported that he and several friends were riding dirt bikes onto his truck when several suspects approached him. One suspect held a handgun to the victim's temple and tried to take the victim's dirt bike. The suspects were unsuccessful, and ran off into the woods. The victim attempted to follow the suspects, but the suspect with the handgun stepped out of the woods and fired several shots at the victim's truck. The truck was struck several times, but there were no injuries.

Detectives have been able to locate a photograph of a person who may have information about this case.
