On July 28 at 8:30 p.m., officers responded to the 6900 block of Quad Avenue, 21222, in Precinct 12/North Point, for an attempted armed robbery. The victim reported that he and several friends were riding dirt bikes onto his truck when several suspects approached him. One suspect held a handgun to the victim's temple and tried to take the victim's dirt bike. The suspects were unsuccessful, and ran off into the woods. The victim attempted to follow the suspects, but the suspect with the handgun stepped out of the woods and fired several shots at the victim's truck. The truck was struck several times, but there were no injuries.
Detectives have been able to locate a photograph of a person who may have information about this case.
