On Tuesday, December 6 at 10 a.m., two Baltimore County police officers will be promoted. The ceremony will take place in the Hampton Room, located on the third floor of the Public Safety Building, 700 East Joppa Road, Towson 21286.

Chief James Johnson will join family and friends at the ceremony and will present the certificates. The Oath of Office will be administered by the Honorable Julie Ensor, Clerk of the Circuit Court. The invocation and benediction will be offered by the departmental chaplain.

The following is a list of the promotees and their new assignments:

  • Corporal Anastasia C. Robinson is promoted to the rank of Sergeant and is assigned to Precinct 1 Wilkens.
  • Officer Shawn L. Reagle is promoted to the rank of Corporal and is assigned to Precinct 2 Woodlawn.

On October 21 at 1 p.m., 18 Baltimore County police officers will be promoted. The ceremony will take place at the Sollers Point Multi-Purpose Center, 323 Sollers Point Road, Dundalk 21222.

County Executive Kevin Kamenetz and Chief James Johnson will speak at the ceremony and present the certificates. The oath of office will be administered by the Honorable Julie Ensor, Clerk for Baltimore County. The invocation and benediction will be offered by Deacon Hugh H. Mills Jr., a police chaplain.

The following is the list of the promoted officers and their new assignments.

  • Lieutenant Stephen B. Troutman is promoted to the rank of Captain and is assigned to Precinct 8 Parkville.
  • Sergeant Joseph M. Ciampaglio Jr. is promoted to the rank of Lieutenant and is assigned to Precinct 6 Towson.
  • Sergeant Anthony J. DiCara is promoted to the rank of Lieutenant and is assigned to Precinct 8 Parkville.
  • Sergeant John A. Soter is promoted to the rank of Lieutenant and is assigned to Precinct 4 Pikesville.
  • Corporal George Bandurchin III is promoted to the rank of Sergeant and is assigned to Precinct 8 Parkville.
  • Corporal Mallory J. Grantham is promoted to the rank of Sergeant and is assigned to Precinct 11 Essex.
  • Corporal Maurice H. Hoppert III is promoted to the rank of Sergeant and is assigned to Precinct 11 Essex.
  • Corporal Charles M. Montgomery Jr. is promoted to the rank of Sergeant and is assigned to Precinct 11 Essex.
  • Corporal Joseph W. Robinson is promoted to the rank of Sergeant and is assigned to Precinct 4 Pikesville.
  • Corporal Timothy J. Stadler is promoted to the rank of Sergeant and is assigned to Precinct 12 Dundalk.
  • Officer Patrick R. Burns is promoted to the rank of Corporal and is assigned to Precinct 12 Dundalk.
  • Officer Mohammed R. Goff is promoted to the rank of Corporal and is assigned to Precinct 9 White Marsh.
  • Officer Matthew R. Gonzalez is promoted to the rank of Corporal and is assigned to Precinct 2 Woodlawn.
  • Officer Joseph S. Grossman is promoted to the rank of Corporal and is assigned to Precinct 2 Woodlawn.
  • Officer Harry W. Power IV is promoted to the rank of Corporal and is assigned to Precinct 12 Dundalk.
  • Officer Christopher G. Robinson is promoted to the rank of Corporal and is assigned to Precinct 12 Dundalk.
  • Officer Michael S. Scatton is promoted to the rank of Corporal and is assigned to Precinct 4 Pikesville.
  • Officer Matthew J. Wood is promoted to the rank of Corporal and is assigned to Precinct 6 Towson.

On March 14 at 1 p.m., 11 Baltimore County police officers will be promoted. The ceremony will take place in the University Union - Potomac Lounge at Towson University, 8000 York Road, Towson, 21252.

The oath of office will be administered by the Honorable Julie Ensor, Clerk of the Circuit Court. The invocation and benediction will be offered by Police Chaplain, the Reverend Darron D. McKinney Sr.

  • Lieutenant Michael A. Cortes III is promoted to the rank of Captain and assigned to the Support Operations Division.
  • Sergeant Alan C. Hamby is promoted to the rank of Lieutenant and assigned to Precinct 1/Wilkens.
  • Sergeant William K. Vaselaros is promoted to the rank of Lieutenant and assigned to Precinct 12/Dundalk.
  • Corporal Morgan G. Hassler is promoted to the rank of Sergeant and assigned to Precinct 8/Parkville.
  • Corporal Timothy M. McCreer Jr. is promoted to the rank of Sergeant and assigned to Precinct 9/White Marsh.
  • Corporal Timothy S. Rutherford is promoted to the rank of Sergeant and assigned to Precinct 2/Woodlawn.
  • Corporal Leonard C. Schroeder is promoted to the rank of Sergeant and assigned to Precinct 1/Wilkens.
  • Officer Matthew J. Barnes is promoted to the rank of Corporal and assigned to the Criminal Investigations Bureau.
  • Officer Michael J. Czyzewski is promoted to the rank of Corporal and assigned to Precinct 4/Pikesville.
  • Officer Jeffrey A. Mickle is promoted to the rank of Corporal and assigned to Precinct 8/Parkville.
  • Officer Barbara P. Sullivan is promoted to the rank of Corporal and assigned to the Operations Bureau.
