Update (January 8): The victim has been identified as Daniel Cedillo, 28, of an unknown address in Baltimore City. The Medical Examiner will rule on the cause of death.

BCoPD detectives are investigating the death of a man found this morning behind Logan Elementary School, 7601 Dunmanway in Precinct 12/North Point.

The man -- who displayed no apparent cause of death -- has not yet been identified. Police believe him to be an adult.

Police were dispatched to the scene at 6:58 a.m., after a school support employee found the victim lying at the extreme rear of the school property, next to a public sidewalk. The victim was deceased when police arrived.

Detectives do not believe at this victim died as the result of foul play, but the Office of the Medical Examiner will determine the cause and manner of death following an autopsy.

Detectives are currently investigating two suspects, a male and a female, responsible for committing multiple thefts from gas stations and convenience stores in Baltimore County. One theft occurred at the Sunoco gas station, in the 8400 block of Harford Road, 21234, on October 18.

  • The first suspect is described as a black male, 45 to 55 years old, 5'6" to 6' tall, 225 pounds, with a "salt and pepper" goatee. He wears a ball cap, sunglasses and oftentimes, a delivery driver's uniform.
  • The second suspect is a black female, 45 to 55 years old, 5'8" to 5'10" tall, 180 pounds, with varying hair styles (possibly wearing a wig). She occasionally wears nurse's scrubs, and distracts employees while the male suspect enters the business office and removes large sums of cash.

Detectives were able to recover surveillance photos of the suspects and are hopeful that someone may recognize them. The surveillance photos are posted below.

Update: On October 26, police located Christopher Hilliard in Precinct 12/North Point. Hilliard, a registered sex offender, was arrested on the open warrant for failing to report to Baltimore City Police on October 8, as required by law.

Baltimore County Police are asking for the public's help locating Christopher Hilliard, 33, of the 1500 block of Charlotte Avenue, 21224.

He was last seen on July 26 by a family member, but he was not reported missing until September 17. He is a resident of Baltimore City but was reported missing in Baltimore County.

Now Has Open Warrant

He is a registered sex offender, and also failed to report to the Baltimore City Police Department as required on October 8. There is now a warrant for his arrest for failing to register. Detectives have been unable to locate him, and are asking for the public's help.

Christopher Hilliard is a white male, 33 years old, 5'7" tall, 165 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He has a tear drop tattoo by his left eye.

Baltimore County Police are asking anyone with information regarding his whereabouts to call 410-307-2020.
