A 19-year-old Dundalk man was killed yesterday in an industrial accident at a Sparrows Point metals processing company. The victim is Colin Richard Kelley of the 7500 block of Old Battle Grove Rd., 21222.

Baltimore County Fire and EMS crews responded at about 2:30 p.m. to Maryland Metals Processing, Inc. in the 4400 block of North Point Boulevard for a report of an industrial accident. EMS officials immediately pronounced the victim deceased.

Kelley was working with a machine that rolls steel -- the "coil polish machine" -- when he became entangled in a stainless steel coil, pulled into the machine and crushed. He had been employed at Maryland Metals Processing for about a month.

No foul play was involved in this incident, Baltimore County Police have confirmed.

Maryland Occupational Safety and Health responded to the scene and will investigate the accident.

The Baltimore County Police Department's Crash Team is investigating a fatal pedestrian crash that occurred last night in the 1300 block of Martin Boulevard in Precinct 11/Essex.

The crash occured at about 9:45 p.m. when a northbound motorist driving a Dodge Dart struck a pedestrian near the intersection of Windlass Drive. The driver remained at the scene.

The victim, who died at the scene, has been identified as Nolan Chris Parker, Jr., 48, of no fixed address.

The Baltimore County Police Department is investigating a crash in Randallstown Thursday night that left one person deceased.

On May 1 at 10:51 p.m., Baltimore County Police and Fire personnel responded to Liberty Road and Chapman Road for a serious accident involving a pedestrian.

The initial investigation into this incident has indicated that a pedestrian wearing dark clothing was crossing a darkened area of Liberty Road from the south side to the north side. A BMW was traveling westbound on Liberty Road and struck the pedestrian when the pedestrian stepped into the vehicle's path. The pedestrian was thrown into an eastbound lane of Liberty Road and struck a second time by a Mitsubishi Eclipse traveling eastbound on Liberty Road.

The BMW remained at the scene. The driver of the Mitsubishi Eclipse continued home, and then contacted police.

The pedestrian was declared deceased at the scene by medical personnel. He has been identified as 18-year-old Caleb Aaron Moulton of the 3900 block of Noyes Circle, 21133.

This incident remains under investigation by the Baltimore County Police Department Crash Team. When the Crash Team is done their investigation, the report will be presented to the Baltimore County State's Attorney's Office. The State's Attorney's Office will review the report and decide if any charges will be brought.
