Twenty people -- 17 adults and three children -- have been forced from their homes as a result of a two-alarm fire this morning at an garden apartment complex in Fullerton.
Fire crews were dispatched at 5:27 a.m. to the unit block of Leatherwood Place. First responders arrived to find flames coming from the back of the complex. Fullerton's Truck 8, the first unit on scene, quickly requested a second alarm.
No injuries were reported to firefighters or civilians. All occupants got out of the complex on their own. The Red Cross assisted with accomodations for the displaced residents.
Baltimore County Police fire investigators have not yet determined a cause; the fire remains under investigation.
More than 30 pieces of fire equipment responded to this incident.
