    Antwan Donta Holmes (37) of the 3900 block of Red Deer Circle 21133 has been charged with first-degree murder and is being held without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center.

At 6:30 a.m. today, Baltimore County Police responded to a call for a pedestrian struck at North Point Boulevard and New Battle Grove Road in Precinct 12/North Point.

The preliminary investigation shows that  Bonnie Jo Tucker, 42, of the 1700 block of Drexel Road, 21222, was driving her 2007 Jeep Liberty northbound on North Point Boulevard when her vehicle struck 55-year-old Irwin Joseph Combs. Mr. Combs entered Ms. Tucker's path from the median section. Ms. Tucker remained at the scene.

According to witnesses, Mr. Combs appeared to be stumbling through the median prior to being struck.

Mr. Combs, of the 8300 block of Kavanaugh Road, 21222, was pronounced dead at the scene.

No citations have been issued at this time.

Baltimore County Police continue to investigate the death of a man found this morning in Robert E. Lee Park. Just before 1:30 a.m. County Police received a call from the park. Officers responded and found a man suffering from numerous injuries. The type of injuries cannot be confirmed at this time. The man was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Detectives have determined there is no foul play in his death. He has been identified as Reed Cockey Haynie, 49 years old. Mr. Haynie's last known address was in the Wilmington, North Carolina area.

Mr. Haynie's body was transported to the Office of the State Medical Examiner. Homicide investigators await the results of the autopsy.
