UPDATE (April 10): Baltimore County Police have charged an Essex man with the January 31 stabbing at the Bonfire Bar in Middle River.

Thomas Christer Langley (28) of Essex was arrested on March 20 and is charged with first degree assault, second degree assault, and dangerous weapon with intent to injure. He is being held at the Baltimore County Detention Center on $250,000 bail.

Original release (February 1):

At 9:19 p.m. Friday night, Baltimore County Police responded to the 3700 block of White Pine Road in Middle River for a report of a stabbing.  Upon arriving at the scene, officers encountered an adult male victim that had multiple stab wounds to his upper body. He was transported to an area hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

The initial investigation into this incident has indicated that the victim and the suspect were at the Bonfire Bar at 601 Bowleys Quarters Rd in Middle River. The victim and the suspect became involved in an argument. Both the victim and the suspect went outside at which time the suspect stabbed the victim. The suspect then fled the scene.

This incident remains under investigation by Precinct 11 patrol officers.
