UPDATE (August 18):

Baltimore County Police are looking for the following vehicle in connection with the fatal hit and run of a pedestrian in Dundalk August 9.

  • Late model Dodge Ram pick-up truck that is white or off-white in color with front end damage. Investigators believe the truck sustained damage to the front grill which is plastic and chrome colored. The truck should also be missing chips of paint from the front.

Ronny Lee Parsley (43) was struck by a vehicle August 9 as he crossed North Point Road. He was transported to John Hopkins Bayview Medical Center where he later died. The vehicle that struck him left the scene.

Anyone with information on this truck or on the incident is asked to call the Baltimore County Police Department Crash Team at 410-887-5396.

Original release (August 11):

On August 9, just after midnight, Baltimore County Police received a call for a pedestrian struck at North Point Road and Charlesmont Road in the Precinct 12 area.

The pedestrian was identified as Ronny Lee Parsley, 43, with no fixed address. Mr. Parsley was transported to Bayview Medical Center, where he was pronounced deceased at 1:35 a.m.

The vehicle involved in the collision did not remain at the scene. Investigators are attempting to locate an unknown make and model white truck with damage to the front.
