Baltimore County Police are investigating a robbery and shooting that occurred Monday night in Garden Village.

The initial investigation into this incident has indicated that at approximately 7 p.m., the adult male victim was walking in the area of St Regis Road and Framingham Road when he was approached by several suspects. They surrounded him and demanded property. After they took his wallet and cell phone, the suspects ran off. One suspect then returned and demanded his shoes. He refused and started to run off. As he ran from the suspect, the suspect shot him at least once in the lower body.

The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

This incident is under investigation by the Baltimore County Police Violent Crimes Unit. Detectives will be working to determine if this is a targeted crime.
