On April 11, at 6:16 p.m., Baltimore County Police and Fire personnel responded to Harford Road and Glenview Road in Glen Arm in reference to a serious automobile accident.
 
The initial investigation into this incident has indicated that a 1964 Chevrolet Corvette was traveling north-bound on Harford Road north of Factory Road. A Ford F-250 was traveling south-bound on Harford Road. The Corvette lost control on a curve, struck a guard rail, entered the south-bound travel lane, and was struck by the Ford F-250.
 
The driver of the Corvette, 65-year-old James Ludwig of the 2900 block of Knoll Acres Road in Parkville, was declared deceased at the scene.
 
The Driver of the Ford F-250, 33-year-old Ever Noe Martinez Diaz, of the 7800 block of Wynbrook Road 21224, and a rear passenger, 29-year-old Michael Patrick Royal of the 1800 block of Main Street 21043, were not transported to a medical facility for treatment.
 
The front seat passenger in the Ford F-250, 20-year-old Caesar De Jesus Quincin Marroquin of the 2900 block of Taney Road 21209, was transported to an area hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
 
This incident is under investigation by the Baltimore County Police Crash Team. After the Crash Team investigation is complete, the report will be sent to the Baltimore County State’s Attorney’s Office for review.

UPDATE (April 15): Baltimore County Police are continuing to investigate the Saturday night shooting in Dundalk that left two people injured.

A 65-year-old male and a 65-year-old female had been visiting people in the neighborhood. As they left the area in their car, they were each shot at least once by an unknown suspect.

While a motive behind the shooting has not been determined, investigators believe that the victims were not the shooter’s intended targets.

Original Release (April 13):

At 10:15 p.m. Saturday night, Baltimore County Police responded to Dundalk Avenue and Broening Road in Dundalk for a report of a shooting.

The initial investigation into this incident has indicated that an adult male and adult female were in a car in the 100 block of Chestnut Street 21222 when they were each shot at least once in the upper body by an unknown suspect. The victims then drove to Dundalk Avenue and Broening Road where they called police.

Both victims were taken to an area hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

This incident is under investigation by the Baltimore County Police Violent Crimes Unit.
