A two-alarm fire damaged a Pikesville assisted living complex early this morning.

BCoPD fire investigators have ruled the fire accidental, though they have not yet named a specific cause.

BCoFD responded to Springhouse Assisted Living in the 8900 block of Reisterstown Road at 2:42 a.m. First-arriving units found smoke and fire on the third floor and managed to confine the fire to a single room.  Some residents on the second and third floors were temporarily evacuated.
