On Tuesday at 2:56 p.m., Baltimore County Police responded to the area around the Cheesecake Factory restaurant at Towson Town Center for a report of a robbery.

While en route to the call, officers located three persons matching the descriptions of suspects given by callers. These persons were in custody within seven minutes of the call being dispatched and were positively identified as the suspects in this case.

The initial investigation into this incident has indicated that victim was at Towson Town Center when he observed the suspects. He knew one of the suspects and they walked out of the mall by Cheesecake Factory. The suspects then pushed him into a stairwell area where one suspect held a knife to his face and the others took $380 in cash from him.

A pocket knife and $365 in cash were recovered from the suspects.

Two of the suspects were under the age of 18 and were charged as juveniles. The third suspect, 18-year-old Shawn Donte Allen Jr of Parkville, was charged with armed robbery and other related charges. He is being held at the Baltimore County Detention Center on $500,000 bail.
