    Police Investigating Homicide in Catonsville

    The Baltimore County Police Department is investigating a double shooting that left one man dead in the 7000-block of Upper Mills Circle, 21228.

    On September 15, at 5:54 p.m., a Baltimore County Police supervisor was in the area of Johnnycake Road and Upper Mills Circle, 21228, when he heard the sounds of gunshots. The police officer investigated the sounds and found a male victim running down the street suffering from at least one gunshot to the back. Police were able to determine that the suspects had fled the area in a red van and broadcasted the information to other police units in the area. Police officers located the red van fleeing westbound on Route 40 West (The Baltimore National Pike) towards the Howard County line. The suspects driving the red van crashed into numerous vehicles, including police cars while fleeing from the crime scene. Baltimore County Police were able to get the van stopped and took the two male suspects into custody on Route 40 at the Baltimore County/Howard County line at the bridge.

    There were two male victims, one was found deceased inside a car in the 7000-block of Upper Mills Circle. The second victim, who was found running from the scene by police was transported to a local hospital for treatment. His condition at this time is unknown. There were no injuries to the police involved in the pursuit and apprehension.

    The two male suspects were taken to a police facility, where they will face murder charges along with a list of other charges. Baltimore County Homicide investigators are handling this case.

Update (January 6): The identities of the four suspects arrested in the stabbing of a Towson University student have been released. Their identities, booking photos and charges are listed below.

Baltimore County Police have identified suspects responsible for the stabbing of a Towson University student during an armed robbery on November 3. Detectives also believe that the suspect may be connected to additional robberies as well.

No charges have been filed for our cases at this time. The suspects are already in custody in another jurisdiction and are being held without bail.

Detectives are continuing to investigate the cases, and charges are likely to be filed this week.

We are unable to release or confirm any additional information until after the suspects are formally charged.

"Once again Chief Johnson and the Baltimore County Police Department have shown why they are among the finest in the nation. The resolution of this case is another example why our clearance rates exceed the national average," said County Executive Kevin Kamenetz.

Identities of Four Suspects

The photo below is of Calvin Fogg, 21 years old, of the 1600 block of Northbourne Road, 21239 has been charged with armed robbery, attempted first degree murder and first degree assault.

The photo below is of Edward Hawkins, 19 years old, of the 2700 block of Pelham Avenue, 21213, has been charged with armed robbery, attempted first degree murder, first degree assault and second degree assault.

The Baltimore County Police Department is currently investigating a shooting that occurred in Precinct 12/North Point.

On November 15 at approximately 7:06 p.m., police responded to the 1600 block of Four Georges Court, 21222, for a gunshot wound. Their investigation revealed that a male subject who was standing at the location was approached by suspects who began shooting at him. The victim, who is not being identified at this time, was shot at least once in the lower part of his body. The victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The unknown suspects were last seen fleeing the scene on foot.
