UPDATE (July 9):

Robert Antoine Weathers and Robin Tracey Nelson were taken into custody on the morning of July 7 at the Comfort Inn in the 5800 block of Baltimore National Pike 21228. Both are being held at the Baltimore County Detention Center on $450,000 bail.

Baltimore County Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying two persons in connection to the theft of over $46,000 in jewelry from Ricardo’s Gems and Jewelry in the 9600 block of Deereco Road in Timonium.

The initial investigation into this incident has indicated that on December 31, a male and female suspect entered the Ricardo’s Gems and Jewelry store. The female asked to view some expensive jewelry. While the clerk was helping the female suspect, the male suspect took several rings (worth a combined $46,250) from an unlocked display case. Both suspects then left the location in an unknown vehicle.

A picture of the suspects was captured on the store’s video surveillance system.
