At approximately 3 p.m., the suspects approached the victims in a silver van. The suspects exited the vehicle and assaulted the victim for her backpack containing several items of value. When the male victim tried to intervene, the male suspect assaulted him and took the book bag he was trying to retain for the female victim. Both suspects were arrested.
At approximately 3:45 p.m., victims were involved in an altercation with the suspect’s children and cousins. Suspects arrived and produced a handgun firing into the crowd of juveniles fighting. No one was hit, but both victims were injured in the attempts to flee the shooting.
At 9:55 p.m., the suspect entered the Dollar Tree store and passed a note to the cashier announcing a robbery. The suspect had both cashiers empty the registers and then the safe. The suspect then fled on foot towards Rossville Boulevard.
Between 8 a.m.on May 23 and 6 p.m. on May 24, unknown suspects cut the lock off of the victim’s storage unit and removed an all terrain vehicle.
