At 12:40 p.m., an unknown male suspect entered the Food Lion store and placed an item at the register as if to make a purchase. The suspect pulled out a handgun and demanded the victims open the cash drawers. The suspect took money and fled on foot.

Nearly three months ago, 16-year-old Elise Fellner of Forest Hill was trying out for volleyball at a school in Kingsville when she collapsed from sudden cardiac arrest. Her coach and the athletic director immediately began CPR; BCoFD EMS crews followed up with defibrillation using an automatic external defibrillator. Elise has recovered fully.
She and other survivors of sudden cardiac arrest will join Baltimore County Fire and EMS personnel and elected officials tomorrow, Thursday, October 23, 11:30 a.m., at the Parkville Fire Station. Each year, the Fire Department welcomes survivors of sudden cardiac arrest and the people who helped save them in an effort to raise awareness about the importance of CPR and defibrillation.
The Parkville station is located at 2325 Putty Hill Ave., 21234. County Executive Kevin Kamenetz and Fire Chief John Hohman are scheduled to attend. At 6:47 a.m., the suspect walked up to the customer service counter at the Food Lion, pulled out a handgun and pointed it at the clerk. The suspect demanded all of the money. The clerk told the suspect that she didn’t have any money and walked away. A second employee then exited the manager’s office and the suspect pointed his gun at her. He again demanded money. The employee opened the safe and the suspect took an undetermined amount of cash. The suspect fled the scene .
At 12:52 a.m., an unknown suspect attempted to gain entry to Walther Liquors by hitting the door glass with a hammer. The suspect ran away when the alarm sounded.
At 2:20 p.m., three suspects approached the victim and demanded his belt. When the victim said no, the suspects grabbed the victim and one of the suspects removed the belt.
