Baltimore County Police detectives are continuing to investigate a shooting in Gwynn Oak in December 2013 that left a man deceased.
The family of the victim is offering an additional $1,000.00 through Metro Crime Stoppers for information that leads to an arrest and conviction in this case.

Sometime between 10:45 a.m. and 12:18 p.m., two unknown suspects gained entry to the home by prying open the back door and stole jewelry.
Sometime between 8:20 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., unknown suspect attempted to gain entry to the home by prying open a door. The suspect was unable to gain entry and nothing was taken.
At 4:40 p.m., suspect stole items from Shop Rite and assaulted a loss prevention employee during apprehension. Suspect was arrested.
On Thursday, November 20 the funeral for Baltimore City Fire Lieutenant James Bethea will be held at the Cathedral of Mary our Queen at 5200 N Charles Street 21210. He will be laid to rest at the Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens at 200 East Padonia Road 21093.
The procession from the funeral to the cemetery will take the following route:
- Left on Northern Parkway
- North on the Jones Falls Expressway (JFX or I-83)
- East on I-695
- North on the Harrisburg Expressway (I-83)
- East on Padonia Road to Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens
The procession is expected to begin between 12:30 and 1 p.m.
The funeral is expected to draw a large number of people. Motorists are advised to find an alternate route around the procession route.
At 6:30 p.m., male suspect entered the Citgo gas station and produced a knife. Suspect left with cash and merchandise.
Sometime between 7 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., unknown suspect(s) entered the home and removed two televisions and a computer.
