    Nearly three months ago, 16-year-old Elise Fellner of Forest Hill was trying out for volleyball at a school in Kingsville when she collapsed from sudden cardiac arrest. Her coach and the athletic director immediately began CPR; BCoFD EMS crews followed up with defibrillation using an automatic external defibrillator. Elise has recovered fully.

    She and other survivors of sudden cardiac arrest will join Baltimore County Fire and EMS personnel and elected officials tomorrow, Thursday, October 23, 11:30 a.m., at the Parkville Fire Station. Each year, the Fire Department welcomes survivors of sudden cardiac arrest and the people who helped save them in an effort to raise awareness about the importance of CPR and defibrillation.

    The Parkville station is located at 2325 Putty Hill Ave., 21234. County Executive Kevin Kamenetz and Fire Chief John Hohman are scheduled to attend. The event will include a demonstration of CPR by EMS personnel.

Sometime between 6:10 and 6:22 a.m., officers responded to a home for a report of a burglary. The suspect was standing in the living room and was taken into custody.

At 5:52 a.m., the suspect rang the front door bell. The suspect then went to the rear door and ripped the screen in an attempt to enter the residence. The suspect was located and taken into custody.

At 6:20 p.m., two juveniles forced their way into the residence to assault the juvenile victim. The suspects were taken into custody.

At 9:05 p.m., two suspects that were under the influence of an unknown susbstance forced their way into two homes. Both suspects were taken into custody.

Sometime between 5:00 p.m. on April 4 and 10:00 a.m. on April 7, an unknown suspect broke out the basement window. Nothing was taken from the location.

Sometime between 12:00 p.m. on March 13 and 7:37 a.m. on March 14, two suspects pried a back window to gain entry to an apartment. Both suspects were arrested at the scene.

Sometime between 1:00 p.m. and 1:22 p.m., the suspect broke into the victim's apartment, destroyed a few paintings, and spit in the victim's face. The suspect was located and arrested.
