Baltimore County health officials have put out this warning about a rabid cat in the Reisterstown area:
The Baltimore County Department of Health is urging residents near Delight Road in Reisterstown (21136) to be aware of possible exposure to a cat which tested positive for rabies on Monday, September 29. he cat was a male, grey striped tabby that may have had a limp.
In light of this incident, area residents are urged to contact the Health Department if they have had direct exposure to this cat AND to take actions to protect themselves, their families and pets from rabies exposure. At 1:10 a.m., the suspect punched the victim in the face and took his wallet.
At approximately 12:15 p.m., the suspect approached a teller at the First Mariner Bank, implied a weapon, and demanded money. The suspect fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money.
At 9:30 p.m. suspects armed with knives approached employees that were closing the Oakleigh Convenience Store. They forced the employees back into the store and took currency.
At 11:05 a.m., the suspects approached the victim, restrained him, and took property from his pockets. The suspects then fled the scene.
At approximately 5 p.m., the suspect entered the Petco store, displayed a handgun, and demanded money. The suspect fled the store with an undisclosed amount of cash.
