    Baltimore County health officials have put out this warning about a rabid cat in the Reisterstown area:

    The Baltimore County Department of Health is urging residents near Delight Road in Reisterstown (21136) to be aware of possible exposure to a cat which tested positive for rabies on Monday, September 29. The cat was a male, grey striped tabby that may have had a limp.

    In light of this incident, area residents are urged to contact the Health Department if they have had direct exposure to this cat AND to take actions to protect themselves, their families and pets from rabies exposure. Contact health officials at 410-887-6092.

At 12:50 a.m., an unknown suspect gained entry to a home through a side window. Two airsoft pistols were taken from the location.

Unknown suspects entered a home and took various items of personal property. The property was later located nearby.

Sometime between 4:30 p.m. on September 25 and 8:30 a.m. on September 26, unknown suspects entered a home through unlocked side windows. The suspects took the keys to a Dodge Caravan and used those keys to steal the vehicle which had been parked in the driveway. Incident reported on October 1.

Sometime between noon and 4 p.m., an unknown suspect kicked open the front door of a home and ransacked the location. A laptop was taken from the location.

Sometime between 5 p.m. on September 19 and 2:30 p.m. on September 22, the suspect gained entry to the location by forcing a rear door. Taken from the location was a Husky air compressor.

Sometime between 10 p.m. on September 18 and 11:30 a.m. on September 19, an unknown suspect gained entry to a home by breaking a basement window. Electronic equipment was taken from the location.

Sometime between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m., an unknown suspect gained access to a home through a front window. Personal property was taken from the location.
