Keyword: attempted robbery

The victim is a cab driver who states that he picked up two fares in the area of York Road and Northern Parkway. The suspects requested a ride to Owings Mills Boulevard, coincidently very close to where the victim’s girlfriend lives. They arrived in the area just before 1:30 a.m., at which point the victim stated that he was assaulted and the suspects fled on foot.

At 12:05 a.m., the suspect was observed on the side of the Royal Farms store with a mask and gloves on. A witness notified store employees and the employees locked the door. When police arrived on the scene, the suspect fled on foot but was later taken into custody.

The complainant advised that sometime between 10:00 p.m. on February 11 and 6:00 a.m. on February 12, a subject entered the Exxon gas station store. He was wearing a ski mask, had his hands concealed, and stated that he wanted all of the money. The subject then removed his hands from his coat, made a gun with his fingers, removed his mask, and stated that he was kidding. No reports of injuries or property being taken.
