At 12:10 a.m., 911 received a call stating the callers' friend put a gun to her head and she was barricaded upstairs. Patrol units responded and set up a perimeter. Shortly after, the suspect exited the house with his hands up. The suspect was tased after he resisted and became combative when ordered outside. After he was taken into custody, officers learned that the suspect held a gun to the victim and held her against her will before she was able to escape and call 911.

At 3:38 p.m., the victims were walking home from school when they were approached by two suspects. One suspect pulled out a black semi automatic handgun and pointed it at one of the victims and stated "I should smack you with this." The other victim stated he stepped forward and attempted to stop the assault. The suspect pointed the gun at him and stated "I should smack you with this too." The suspect asked them if they wanted to "do this" and the other suspect demanded the other suspect "leave it alone." Both suspects walked away. They were taken into custody later.
