He appeared to be leaving when he turned around and displayed a knife. The victim ran to the back office and the suspect fled in an unknown direction. The suspect did not demand anything or make any statements.

Baltimore County Police have identified the victim in the Saturday, September 20, homicide in Lochearn. His name is Jonathan Michael Watkins, 20, last known address in the 100-block of Village of Pine Court, 21244.

The Baltimore County Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred in Lochearn.
On September 20, at 2:06 a.m., Baltimore County police responded to the area of Lantern Hill Drive and Sedgemoor Road, 21207 for a check on subject call. Police found an unidentified young male subject suffering from severe trauma to the body. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Baltimore County police homicide detectives are investigating the case. Police are asking anyone with information about this crime to call (410) 307-2020. At 7:29 p.m., the victim attempted to report an armed robbery that occurred at 21 Cinnamon Circle. IST assisted and determined it was a false report. The victim made up the story to cover up a dispute among friends. Charges are pending against the victim.
At 2:42 a.m., an unknown suspect hid inside the Checkers restaurant at closing. The suspects broke open the safes and removed the money.
At 1:40 a.m., the suspect approached the victim from behind, He displayed a handgun and demanded the victim "Kick it out." The victim gave the suspect his iPhone 5 and wallet. The suspect fled in an unknown vehicle. The victim declined to provide a written statement.
At 11:20 p.m., the victim was walking and was jumped be several suspects. One suspect punched him in the face knocking him to the ground. While the victim was on the ground, the suspects took $10 and the victim's driver's license.
At 10:06 a.m., Baltimore County Police responded to an apartment in the 9900 block of Cervine Lane 21133 for a shooting. Upon arriving at the scene, officers found an adult male victim suffering from at least one gunshot wound.

At 3:45 a.m., the victim was walking when a black Acura with dark tinted windows pulled up and two suspects exited the vehicle. One suspect pulled out a long barrel revolver and demanded the victim's money. The victim said he had no money and ran.
