    On February 9, 2015, the Baltimore County Police Department promoted 23 officers and one civilian. This includes eight captains, four lieutenants, four sergeants and seven corporals. Police Chief Jim Johnson and County Executive Kevin Kamenetz presented the certificates.

On May 15 at 10:22 p.m., the suspect walked into the 7-Eleven wearing a ski mask, displayed a large knife and demanded the cashier open the register drawer. He told the cashier he would stab him if he refused. The cashier opened the drawer and gave the money to the suspect. The suspect fled on foot.

On May 15 at 10:10 p.m., the victims told police that they were approached by two unknown males. One suspect pointed a silver revolver at one victim's head, asked him what he was doing then pistol whipped him. When the victim fell to the ground, the suspect searched his pockets and took an iPhone. The second suspect stole the second victim's Cricket phone. The suspects fled on foot towards Kriel Street.
