    Bill served as the Director of Media Relations for the Baltimore County Police Department from 1996 to 2010. Bill was a good friend to many of us in the public safety and government community and a committed, enthusiastic media relations practitioner. We will miss him.

Date: Feb 21, 2014

Sometime between 5:47 p.m. and 5:50 p.m., the victim got off of an MTA bus at the location and was approached by four suspects. One of the suspects displayed a handgun and stated "Give me that". The suspects took the victim's grocery bags and fled the scene in a silver Nissan Maxima.

At 1:22 p.m., a 50-year-old male was attempting to cross a flooded stream. He was swept downstream and later rescued by Fire Department personnel. The male was transported to Northwest Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
