Between 12:05 and 12:25 a.m., officers responded to an assault in progress. Upon arrival, they spoke to the victim who stated her son and his girlfriend were staying at the residence temporarily, but, because they were very drunk, she wanted them to leave. Officers told them to leave the premises, when they became defiant. The suspect pushed and punched Lieutenant Hisker in the back while inside the house. The suspect was arrested for failing to follow directions to leave.

At 12:05 a.m., officers responded to a call and found the suspect in an upstairs bedroom. The suspect was angry and acting aggressively due to a fight between his sister and girlfriend. Officers instructed the suspect to leave the location. The suspect became agitated and refused to leave. At this point he became physical with the officers and pushed one officer. The officers regained control and placed him in handcuffs.
