Date: Jul 2014

Sometime between 7 p.m. July 31 and 7:30 a.m. August 1, unknown suspects entered gated/fenced yard in yard of McCarthy Tire by unknown means. Once inside, five catalytic converters were cut off of five separate commercial vehicles. A reciprocating saw was probably used.

At 9:33 p.m., the victim located the suspect in the basement of his home. When the victim went to call 911, the suspect fled. Responding officers located the suspect in the neighborhood and took him into custody. During the investigation, the victim's daughter stated she had a previous relationship with the suspect. Daughter denied inviting him to the residence.

Sometime between 7 p.m. July 30 and 7 a.m. July 31, the victim advised that copper wiring was stolen from unsecured townhomes under construction. There were no surveillance devices.

Sometime between 3:30 p.m. July 30 and 8 a.m. July 31, unknown suspects stole two catalytic converters from two different trucks that were parked inside the Brody Trucking unsecured, fenced lot. The area where the vehicles were parked is poorly lit.

At 12:40 a.m., the suspect and victims got into an argument. The suspect produced a handgun and threatened to shoot the victims. The suspect was taken into custody.

Between 3 and 3:44 a.m., the victim was removing his property when he got into an argument with the suspect. The suspect assaulted him with a wooden stick. Police arrested Robert Francis Provenzano Jr.

At 11:40 a.m., suspects entered a construction site and removed eight fence poles. The company did not wish to press charges. The property was returned to the owner.
