    Bill served as the Director of Media Relations for the Baltimore County Police Department from 1996 to 2010. Bill was a good friend to many of us in the public safety and government community and a committed, enthusiastic media relations practitioner. We will miss him.

At 7:26 p.m., a suspect entered the Royal Farms Store, displayed a handgun, demanded cash, and then fled the location towards Sandalwood Road.

Sometime between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., two known suspects broke into the shed and removed a tool bag and various hand tools.

At 12:50 a.m., one of three suspects broke a window at the South Marlyn Liquors store to gain entry. While the two other suspects remained outside, the one suspect removed beer, liquor. and cash, but was then apprehended by police officers while still inside the store. The other two suspects fled prior to police arrival.

Around noon at Deep Creek Middle School, the school resource officer was assaulted by a juvenile suspect. The juvenile suspect punched and kicked the officer several times as he was attempting to restrain him. The suspect's parents were notified.

At 10:50 p.m., while walking, the victim was approached by three male suspects. One of the suspects assaulted the victim with a handgun. The other two suspects pulled the victim's backpack off  her back and then they all fled on foot.

At 3:29 a.m., the employees of the Royal Farms Store were outside smoking when the suspects approached with large knives. The suspects forced the victims inside and had them open the registers. The suspects stole cash and fled.

At 8:20 a.m., the suspect was part of a large group that approached a group of black male teens toward the rear of Deep Creek Middle school. The suspect pointed a 32 caliber revolver at the victim, who immediately fled. The gun was found hidden in a grill behind a home in the 900 block of Bayner Court 21221. The suspect was arrested as he attempted to get on the number 55 MTA bus.
