    Baltimore County health officials have put out this warning about a rabid cat in the Reisterstown area:

    The Baltimore County Department of Health is urging residents near Delight Road in Reisterstown (21136) to be aware of possible exposure to a cat which tested positive for rabies on Monday, September 29. he cat was a male, grey striped tabby that may have had a limp.

    In light of this incident, area residents are urged to contact the Health Department if they have had direct exposure to this cat AND to take actions to protect themselves, their families and pets from rabies exposure. Contact health officials at 410-887-6092.

Sometime between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m., an unknown subject forced open a back window to make entry. Once inside, the subject stole jewelry, a computer tablet and handgun.

Sometime between 7 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., an unknown subject removed a screen and entered through a rear window. While inside the suspect stole a laptop and exited through a rear sliding door.

At 1:35 p.m., three juvenile suspects approached and robbed two juvenile victims by physical force. An iPod, book bag, and clothing were stolen. The book bag and clothing were later recovered. All three juvenile suspects were apprehended shortly after the incident.

At 9:39 p.m., the victim was in an alley when he was approached by two suspects. One of the suspects showed a gun and demanded the victim's property. The suspects took the victim's cell phone before fleeing the scene.

At 6:45 a.m., the suspect entered the 7-11 store carrying a bag with what appeared to be a gun inside and demanded money. He fled the location with an undisclosed amount of money.

At 3:15 a.m., the suspect entered the Royal Farm store with his hands in his pockets. He threatened to harm the clerk if he did not hand over the money in the register. The suspect fled with an unknown amount of money.

At 8:58 a.m., the suspect attempted to set the victim's house on fire while she was in it. The victim was not seriously injured and the suspect was located and arrested.
