Police Investigating Homicide in Catonsville
The Baltimore County Police Department is investigating a double shooting that left one man dead in the 7000-block of Upper Mills Circle, 21228.
On September 15, at 5:54 p.m., a Baltimore County Police supervisor was in the area of Johnnycake Road and Upper Mills Circle, 21228, when he heard the sounds of gunshots. The police officer investigated the sounds and found a male victim running down the street suffering from at least one gunshot to the back. Police were able to determine that the suspects had fled the area in a red van and broadcasted the information to other police units in the area. Police officers located the red van fleeing westbound on Route 40 West (The Baltimore National Pike) towards the Howard County line. The suspects driving the red van crashed into numerous vehicles, including police cars while fleeing from the crime scene. Baltimore County Police were able to get the van stopped and took the two male suspects into custody on Route 40 at the Baltimore County/Howard County line at the bridge.
There were two male victims, one was found deceased inside a car in the 7000-block of Upper Mills Circle. The second victim, who was found running from the scene by police was transported to a local hospital for treatment. His condition at this time is unknown. There were no injuries to the police involved in the pursuit and apprehension.

Sometime between 3:30 p.m. on September 4 and 4:05 p.m. on September 7, an unknown suspect gained entry to the dwelling via an open window, removed Nike shoes from inside and fled the scene
Sometime between 6 a.m. and 5 p.m.on September 4, an unknown suspect(s) crawled through the window and stole a coin jar containing $1,000 in mixed currency. Also between 5:45 a.m. and 4 p.m. on September 6, entry was gained again through the living room window. The unknown suspect(s) stole money and jewelry.
Sometime between 4 p.m. on August 31 and 10:30 a.m. on September 1, an unknown suspect gained entry to Williams Automatic Transmission by removing the window trim on the business office door. Miscellaneous coins were taken from the desk drawer.
Sometime between 11:30 a.m. on August 30 and 7:30 a.m. on September 2, entry was gained to the vacant dwelling by breaking the front door lower window pane. The living room and bedroom walls were spray painted with black markings and lines.
Sometime between 7:50 p.m. on August 28 and 10:30 a.m. on September 2, unknown suspect(s) used an unknown device to cut a hole in the perimeter chain link fence and ground wire from the structure supports of the BGE facility. There was approximately 60 feet of copper ground wire stolen from the location.
Sometime between 8 p.m. on August 26 and 9 a.m. on August 30, an unknown suspect entered a fenced yard, broke into the unsecured shed and took a bicycle.
